The App
GridGallery is a macOS app that arranges your own images into a grid. Set the
rows and columns, drop in a folder of photos, and it lays them out. Filter which
images get used, style the tiles, and - if you want a repeating background -
tile the grid seamlessly for a wallpaper.
Features
- Import - Drag and drop image files or whole folders, or bulk-add a folder at once. Browse, remove, or clear source images from a thumbnail strip, and reveal any one in the Finder
- Grid Layout Controls - Set rows, columns, and spacing. Configure the output by exact width or height and the cell size is worked out for you
- Image Filtering - Filter by brightness threshold or filename pattern to build the grid from a specific subset, with a shuffle toggle for random placement
- Seamless Patterns - Tile the output seamlessly, horizontally or vertically, for repeating wallpapers and backgrounds
- Grid Customization - Add optional grid lines with a custom color, plus a custom background color
- Per-Tile Styling - Zoom and crop, rounded corners, Gaussian blur, and vignette per tile. Eight photo effects (Fade, Instant, Process, Tonal, Vibrance, Chrome, Noir, Transfer) and a global color blend with adjustable strength
- Preview and Export - Live preview as you adjust any control. Export as PNG, JPEG, or TIFF, or copy the result to the clipboard
